Summer in Savona. In July and August visits to the underground of the Priamar fortress

Summer in Savona is also history and culture with Civic Archaeological Museum which in July and August will offer a series of visits to the basement of the Priamar fortress, to the restored marble of the Spinola and Sansoni monuments, to the archaeological excavations at the medieval Cathedral and to the fortress. Reduced entry to the Museum is available for those visiting the excavations.

• Friday July 5th 8.00 pm→ Visit to the Priamar underground with aperitif
• Friday July 12th 6.00 pm → A restoration at the Màr. Presentation of the restored marbles of the Spinola and Sansoni monuments
• Wednesday July 17 8.00 pm → Visit to the Priamar underground with aperitif
• Saturday July 20th (from 10.00 to 17.00) → Open-day archaeological excavations at the medieval Cathedral. Reduced entry to the Archaeological Museum for those visiting the excavations
• Friday August 2 8.00 pm → Visit to the Priamar underground with aperitif
• Saturday August 10th 8.00 pm → Multilingual visit to the Priamar Fortress (Italian, English, French, German)
• Friday 16 August at 8.00 pm → An evening with archaeologists: two professionals in the sector will talk about their most interesting experiences.

Also the Savonese Speleological Group offers a series of tours in the underground a July (12th and 24th), August (7th and 23rd), September (6th and 20th) and October (10th).
