Born in 1994, born William Mezzanotte, aka Nayt: he is the new phenomenon of Italian rap who has made himself noticed since his very young debut with “No Story”, then climbed the charts with “Raptus” and definitively consecrated himself to the general public with the latest album “Habitat”, a journey into the human soul, with an explosive mix of technique, innovation and introspection. In parallel with his recording activity, Nayt’s talent has carved out an important role for himself at a national level also in the live scene, thanks to his ability to hold the stage, among the most technical and hypnotic in Italian rap: each of his concerts is unique, a collective ritual in which to abandon oneself and from which one emerges, in some way, changed.
After the club tour, which was almost entirely sold out, Nayt has now started again with “Habitat Tour: Romantico Finale”, the summer tour that will take him to the main summer festivals of the peninsula and on Friday June 28 will stop at the Castle of Udine, for the event organized by Fvg Music Live and VignaPR, which will host his only performance in the entire Triveneto. The album brings together the rapper’s most beloved songs – taken from the latest albums Doom, Mood, Habitat, but also from Raptus 3 – in a live version, recorded during the club tour last November, plus 4 unreleased songs, including the latest single “Denmarca”, released on Friday 14 June. Born in 1994, Nayt, aka William Mezzanotte, is one of the most interesting artists on the Italian scene. Since the release of his first singles, his name has been linked to that of producer 3D. The partnership between the two, which has matured and consolidated over time, has led to the rapper’s approach to the VNT1 label, a company founded by 3D and of which Nayt has now become a partner and face. Since the single “No story”, Nayt has managed to build a solid path based on facts and coherence, establishing himself as one of the most technical, prolific and innovative names in the Italian rap scene, establishing collaborations with some of the greatest exponents of the genre in Italy.
On March 15, 2019, the third volume of “Raptus” was released, the series of projects he started in 2015. The album debuted at number 2 in the Italian charts and all the songs contained within entered the Spotify top 50, giving Nayt a rightful place among the big names of the Italian hip hop scene. In September 2020, “Non voglio fare cose normali” was released, an autobiography in which Nayt recounts his childhood and adolescence and the early years of his career, which anticipates the predominant introspective aspect found in “MOOD”, the latest album of unreleased songs released in December of the same year. The journey into the human soul was then completed in October with the release of the new album “Doom”, certified gold by Fimi/GfK Italia: with these two works the artist opened up to a new production strongly characterized by a mix with more melodic and musical lines, confirmed by the release in July 2022 of the single “Paraguai” (prod CanovA), which was followed by a completely sold out tour. In June 2023 he released his latest album, “Habitat”, a research album that invites you to look for yourself, which in its release week debuted in second place in the Top Album FIMI chart and first in the Top Vinili, now certified gold by FIMI/GfK Italia. In November the Habitat Tour started, the final fulfillment of the album concept: a series of special events produced by BPM Concerti, which were almost entirely sold out and followed by the summer leg Habitat Tour: Romantico Finale, produced by Trident Music.
