Twelve-year-old Maria Valiante from Lamezia gets on the podium in Rimini where the 2024 national rhythmic gymnastics championships are being held

Thanks to her brilliant performance on the green cloth, Maria Valiante won the bronze medal in the LC2 individual competitions of the “Junior” category, ball specialty.

In her first year of militancy in the category, the athlete from Lamezia managed to achieve her goal in the current edition of “Ginnastica in Festa -Summer Edition” in a very hard-fought race, among many competitors who arrived in Romagna from all over Italy. .

So from fifth place in the first selections she managed to jump onto the third step of the podium, among 120 competitors.

Valiante is a gymnast from the Asd Marconi Ritmica of Lamezia, a member of the Kines of Catanzaro, with other brilliant successes behind her despite her very young age.

It is characterized by its high technical value demonstrated on the platform, with an elegant and flawless exercise, which deserved the applause of the Palafiera.

The technical director of the winning Marconi Ritmica team is Maria Luisa Davoli, assisted by Giusy Crimi, Alessia Romagnuolo and Alice Manfredi.

The Rimini national competitions will end next Sunday.
