As has become tradition in recent seasons, Dinamo Sassari was the club that first moved on the market, practically completing next season’s roster as early as mid-June.
President Sardara’s first club signing was that of Justin Bibbins, point guard coming out of Nanterre. Bibbins has an identikit that in France, and not only, is becoming increasingly popular, even with notable results, namely the very undersized point guard (1.73 for 68 kilos), who gives the team great dynamism and offensive impact. Only this season in the French championship have they shown off, in addition to him, obviously TJ Shorts with Paris, as well as the eternal TJ Campbell, both players well under 180 centimeters in height.
Bibbins is now a veteran of European basketball. The first season on this side of the ocean dates back to 2018/2019, with Starograd Gdanski, in Poland. From there a season between Hungary and Serbia and then landing in France, after another half season in Poland at Legia Warsaw. First a year and a half in Pau, and finally the last two years with the Nanterre shirt, both ended as the team’s best scorer and assist man (15 points and 5 assists on average).
He arrives in Italy at the peak of his career, having turned 28 in January (born 1996) and is set to be one of the potentially most electrifying players in the championship.
