On the occasion of the fourth centenary of the discovery of the mortal remains of Santa Rosalia on Monte Pellegrino, the Municipality of Palermo, subsequently also called ‘”organizer”, with the full contribution of the Port System Authority of the Western Sicilian Sea and with the collaboration of the The Order of Journalists of Sicily intends to create a permanent photographic exhibition to tell the celebrations of the next 14 and 15 July 2024. The exhibition, which will have the aim of creating a photo-story of the Festino, will be held in the prestigious premises of the Gallery of Modern Art (GAM) of Palermo, starting from 4 September 2024 and until December 2024.
Professionals who wish to participate in the competition must send photographic material to the e-mail address [email protected] the subject of the e-mail must indicate: “PHOTOGRAPHIC COMPETITION – PALERMO BLOSSOMS AGAIN WITH SANTA ROSALIA”.
Each participant will be able to send, for example, up to a maximum of n. 3 photo shots.
All files, including the relevant documents necessary for admission to the competition, must be sent to the indicated e-mail and the photographs can be made downloadable via a link for direct download of the files which must be contained in the same e-mail starting from 16 July and no later than 12.00 on 25 July 2024. Works submitted after this date will not be taken into consideration.
