L’AQUILA – A working table will be set up to revise Title IX of the regulation of commerce relating to outdoor dining. This is what emerged from the fifth commission of the city council of L’Aquila, which met yesterday at the request of councilor Lorenzo Rotellini.

In addition to the deputy mayor Raffaele Daniele who also has the delegation for trade, the director of Suap and a representative of the Municipal Police were heard.

In particular, the commission addressed two issues that were still pending after the controversy of recent weeks over the authorizations that did not arrive. Resolution 201 of last May, with the notice for the installation of dehors by traders, had also created some confusion on the payment of tariffs to Cosap. The system effectively led traders, authorized until December, to pay an annual fee. But most authorizations are actually three-yearly, with a lower fee than the annual one. It was clarified in the commission that those who requested the three-year authorization, even if currently authorized until December, will pay the three-year fee and not as if it were an annual authorization.

The other node is that of controls. The request is to intensify them to verify that the traders, now that the authorizations are arriving and they are assembling their dehors, comply with the requirements of the superintendency regarding aspects of the landscape, and those of the Municipal Police regarding escape routes, distances and access to homes.
