A year ago it was the turn of the Reggina fans to experience a nightmare summer of stamped papers, a thousand rumors and unedifying events, today the sad fate is experienced by the supporters ofAncona.
The Marche club did not register for Serie C because it did not pay the emoluments to its members, thus opening the process for supernumerary registration in Serie D, the famous article 52 paragraph 10 of the Noif. But in the meantime, the owner of US Ancona, the team that did not present the documentation for registration in the C, the Malaysian Tiong, announced that he had sold the club to the Campania entrepreneur Francesco Agnello.
“In the name and on behalf of Mr. Tony Tiong, we inform you that this morning, at the notary Lauro Gallori in Rome, the closing of the operation for the transfer of control of the company Us Ancona Srl was held…. The new ownership of the company Us Ancona Srl is represented by the entrepreneur Dr. Francesco Agnello and communicates that, by the beginning of next week, the new corporate positions, the organizational chart and the sports project will be formalized“, reads a note from the aforementioned Tiong.
As the most attentive readers will remember, the entrepreneur Agnello was interested in Reggina in two distinct phases. First after 20 June 2023, when Saladini had not paid the 700,000 euros or so of the approval and subsequently presented incomplete documentation at the expression of interest for the sporting title, then excluded by the municipal commission due to the lack of some requirements.
