Cavallino Tre Porti (Ve) – They took place in the city of Cavallino Tre Porti the first edition of the General States of the coastal and lakeside municipalities of Veneto organized by Anci Veneto. An important and well-attended conference, where the administrators present were able to discuss and analyze the fragilities to increasingly improve tourist hospitality and the quality of life of residents in tourist municipalities.

Michele Grossato, Mayor of the Municipality of Rosolina and vice president of the Conference of Mayors of the Veneto Coast participated in the roundtable “Challenges of Coastal Municipalities: solutions for mobility, services and collaboration between destinations”.

Grossato highlighted the great environmental and hydrogeological fragilities of the coastal municipalities of the Po Delta which the local communities have been able to manage and know how to manage, to the point of transforming them into great opportunities as in the case of the slow mobility routes along the embankments. Every day the municipality of Rosolina deals with the problem of coastal erosion, increasingly pressing beaching, and the rise of the salt wedge in recent summers. Problems that Rosolina has in common with other nearby tourist locations.

The priority for Mayor Grossato is on connections, both with the Strada Statale Romea (known for the danger and volume of traffic) and with the motorway junctions used to reach the Po delta, creating more agile connecting corridors. On this occasion, given the presence of regional councilors and councilors, an appeal was made to increasingly strengthen local services.
