“The work of the League continues with the Government to always ensure more safety for citizens: over 4800 new law enforcement officers throughout Italy, for a total of over 7000 in the summer period, there were 12 more units have been assigned to Basilicata, including Police, Carabinieri and Guardia di Finanza, in support of the police forces already present in the area.
As part of the plan to strengthen summer surveillance services which will start next July 1st, theassignment for the province of Matera of a joint share between the Police, Carabinieri and Guardia di Finanza in support of the Law Enforcement Agencies already present in the territory, it is a concrete sign of attention that the Ministry of the Interior reserves for our Region and for which we thank Minister Matteo Piantedosi and Undersecretary Nicola Molteni.
The agents will be at the disposal of the Prefect, who will identify the most appropriate placement in relation to the critical issues that have emerged in the territory. Once again, the executive and the League in government have demonstrated with facts that protecting the safety and security of citizens is an absolute priority”.
