There Cremona Art Biennialcurated and presented by the Art Critic Antonio Castellana with the Art Historian and Critic Giada Eva Elisa Tarantino, and President of the Jury Cesare Orler, is one of the main national events of training and practice for the development of projects in the field of culture and national valorization of the figurative arts.
The eminent Art and Culture Event of the “Cremona Art Biennale”, sponsored by the City of Soncino and curated by Professor Antonio Castellana, eminent Art Critic, Director and Writer, together with Giada Eva Elisa Tarantino Historian and Critic of Art, and with Doctor Cesare Orler as President of the Jury, will open with emotion next Saturday 29 June 2024and it is an event to raise awareness and enhance creativity and territoriality, which will be held within the suggestive Former spinning mill of Soncinoor in the fulcrum place for the Superintendency of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape of the Provinces of Cremona, Lodi and Mantua.
The event, which is sponsored by the City of Soncino, moves in the name of a multiple and diversified artistic offering which will lead the Biennale to grow in quality thanks to the numerous works ranging from the technique of oil painting, to watercolour, to ‘Acrylic, to Fresco, presented according to transversal and often new interpretations which intend to take its visitors through the different territories of the contemporary. The award is therefore aimed at the promotion and valorisation of contemporary art: a deeply multidisciplinary exhibition that offers creations ranging from figurative painting, abstract art, informal art, photography and sculpture.
There will be three Prizes for the winners of the three sections – painting, photography and sculpture, and we will deliver three plaques to the winners; there will also be three critics’ awards and perhaps even a lifetime achievement award. The certificate of participation and the celebratory catalog will enhance all the artists.
The filming will be entrusted as always to Canale Italia and the information will also be disseminated by the main magazines in the sector.
At an organizational level, days 27 and 28 will be dedicated to the preparation of the works, so that the inauguration can take place on Saturday 29 June 2024, with the awarding of the competing works.
