Palermo transfer market, for the attack we look at Bologna at home: Raimondo is liked

There will be several new features in Palermo’s attack. Edoardo Soleri is close to being sold – he should go to Spezia as part of the operation that will bring Dimitrios Nikolaou to the team –, Leonardo Mancuso was not redeemed, so the management is looking for strikers to pair with Matteo Brunori. And the ‘under’ option is not ruled out.

One of the players that Palermo likes is Antonio Raimondo. The 2004-born player spent a season on loan at Ternana (9 goals in 38 appearances) but is owned by Bologna. The boy has done well, despite the team’s relegation, and wants to play his cards in the new Vincenzo Italiano-led course. In the long run, however, the Felsinei could let him go on loan again.

Palermo isn’t the only one on Raimondo’s trail. Spice e Frosinone have expressed interest in the first striker, who however will remain in Bologna at least for the first phase of the summer training camp. The interest of the squad must be seen as part of a renewal of the team’s ‘under’ team, which does not exclude the arrival of more experienced and top-class players.
