A full-blown beating, ten against one, on the Bari seafront. This is what is said to have happened two nights ago in front of the Chiringuito: one of the symbolic places of Bari’s nightlife, at least for six months of the year. The kiosk in those moments of madness seems to have been closed, but the area was still frequented by several people who apparently stood by and watched the attack without lifting a finger. No one, at the moment, has filed a complaint. Not even the 30-year-old who ended up in hospital with a broken nose. The local edition of the newspaper la Repubblica reported the news.
According to the reconstruction provided by laRepubblica, the victim was in the company of some friends on a bench on the seafront. The 30-year-old, at this point, was called by name by a group of boys not far from him: the group that a few seconds later started the beating, with a long series of kicks and punches, and then ran away in the car amid general indifference. The 30-year-old was taken by his friends to the San Paolo hospital. From there, a few hours later, he was transferred to the Di Venere where he will have surgery on his nose in the next few hours.
