The tour of Molise by bicycle, Luigi Cantoro’s solo undertaking
TERMOLI. Sport and health for all. This is the commercial that animates the eclectic Luigi Cantoro who, for a lifetime now, has been dedicated to initiatives of this kind.
He travels far and wide not only in Italy but also abroad and, today, he has decided to promote his initiatives for his and our Molise.
It left this morning from Piazza Sant’Antonio and after some significant stops in various municipalities in the region, such as Montefalcone, Torella Pietracatella will return to Termoli again in Piazza Sant’Antonio on July 3rd. A group of cyclists will accompany him outside Termoli and then Luigi will continue alone.
Born in 1946, lots of passion and determination to spare. Characteristics that distinguish Luigi Cantoro, a great sportsman ready for a new challenge.
The ‘Giro del Molise by bicycle’ alone and without assistance is an initiative promoted in the name of enthusiasm to spread, in the various stages, messages on the importance of practicing sports and correct nutrition. Attention is also paid to safety at work.
Cantoro, assisted by Inail and now also an athlete of CIP Molise, will stop in various municipalities in the region, inviting the mayors to spread the culture of well-being and good practices.
Traveling an average of 70-80 km a day, the cyclist, of Abruzzo origins but in Molise for years now, will extend his hand to anyone who needs it. Former course director of the Cycling Federation, Cantoro has always been involved in sport, paying particular attention to the health and social aspects.
