The “From vase to vase” path will represent a great innovation for the entire Pistoia Nursery District, a way to be at the forefront also at a European level and to position itself as a serious, reliable interlocutor that focuses a lot on sustainability. “It is the first short supply chain for recycling plastic vases in Europe – says the president of Avi, Alessandro Michelucci – because the companies involved are all located within a radius of just a few kilometers. This means a drastic reduction in energy consumption and lower environmental impact. And the vases will be certified, with consequent image and commercial advantages for our nurseries.
