Region, administrative surplus for non-self-sufficiency

The regional council unanimously approved (with 63 votes in favor and 2 abstentions) the Report 2023 and has destined the surplus amounting to 733,013.16 euros to the regional resources allocated to measures for “Non Self-sufficiency”.

The commitment is in an agenda signed by all the majority group leaders and of which the vice president of the Council and rapporteur of the provision is the first signatory, Giacomo Cosentino.

«This decision is intended to be a further signal of attention on the part of the regional institution to a sector, that of non-self-sufficiency, in which and for which we are constantly committed to recovering and making available further resources to support the growing needs that have emerged“, commented.

«It is also right to remember how the Lombardy Region allocated 2 million euros last May 31st – added to the 30.5 (of which 13 coming from the Regional Health Fund) already made available last March – for people with very serious disabilities and elderly people self-sufficient. And as announced some time ago, with the budget adjustment for next July we have committed to finding further resources equal to 8.5 million», the other majority group leaders also underlined Garavaglia (FdI), Corbetta (League), Figini (FI) e Gallizzi (Nm).
