The summer season of the theatrical reality Skenexodia opens with the debut of the one hundred and twentieth directorial by Luca Guerini from Civitavecchia who founded the production in 2004. The show “Il pensiero” by the Russian author Leonida Andrejew. The main feature of this setup is that during the interval the audience has the right to vote which second half they want to see between the two available.
The plot revolves around the figure of a scientist who declares to the woman he has always loved that he wants to kill her husband. Three months later he committed the crime. Is he crazy and should he be locked up in a mental hospital or does he pretend to be crazy to avoid the death sentence? The spectators of the evocative Gothic venue in the San Lorenzo area will be asked to answer this question. The artistic cast is made up of Corrado Bega (already the protagonist of Play), Alessandra Viganò (Dorian Gray), while Giorgio Cavalieri and Franco Angelino are making their debut in the ranks of Skenexodia. “When the theater manages to involve the public it is a guaranteed success – declares Guerini – and this is precisely a stylistic feature of our productions. This season began with the first appointment of the review at the Botanical Garden in collaboration with the University of Urbino, while for next year we will curate theater seasons in Milan in the splendid setting of Brera, Varese, Moncalieri and Senigallia, we hope to be able to present the my works also in Civitavecchia to which I am very attached…”.
