Among the novelties of the Ferrara summer comes the first ‘Podcast Festival’ in Italy, scheduled for Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st July in Viconovo in the church square. Two days of eventslive podcasts, workshops, meetings with the authors, but also, as in any self-respecting festival, with the inevitable food and wine stand ready to quench or feed the patrons and refresh them from the heat of the lowlands.

The Phenomenal will be the host Johnny Faina from Longastrino, voice and face behind the podcast ‘Is there life in the great agricultural nothingness?’. As a guest star of the event he is announced Jonathan Zenti (in the picture), guru of the audio sector, online in recent months with ‘Totale’ and curator of the ‘Mondoascolti’ review during the Internazionale festival.

Other names and titles on the bill are: Amedeo Berta host of ‘Strano Podcast’, Loretta da Costa Perrone with her ‘Lendas’, the duo of ‘Bouquet of Madness’, Direful Tales just to name a few. Ferrara is therefore increasingly confirmed as one of the Italian podcast capitals after having given shape or location to numerous podcasts which have also entered the listening charts: from ‘Noise’ to ‘3 Days’, from ‘I Fantasmi della Bassa’ to ‘Spari nel notte’.

The ‘Podcast Festival’ is organized by the team behind ‘Is There Life in the Big Agricultural Nowhere?’ in collaboration with Arci Ferrara and Pro Loco of Viconovo, within the ‘With the hamlets’ project and the contribution of the Municipality of Ferrara.
