Ruvo di Puglia among the stops on the itinerary followed by Angela Rafanelli and Peppone Calabrese in the new episode of Linea Verde Estate, which will be broadcast on Sunday 30 June, at 12.20pm, on Rai Uno.

Angela Rafanelli begins her journey from Trani, welcomed by the music of the Apulian singer-songwriter Serena Brancale, while Peppone Calabrese explores the territory starting from a splendid estate in Ruvo di Puglia made up of woods, expanses of pastures, cultivated fields and even a black pig farm.

Still in Trani, the presenter enters the walls of the Swabian Castle, built at the behest of Frederick II who loved this area so much. Meanwhile, Calabrese, in Andria, witnesses the preparation of a particular mozzarella, while Rafanelli gets on a sailing ship to reach the Fishermen’s Bay of Trani, guardian of an ancient legend linked to the Monastery of Santa Maria di Colonna.

In Andria you discover the recipe for the famous confetti made with the delicious almonds from Puglia, while in Barletta you meet an oil sommelier who has created a special combination of ice cream and olive oil.
