Vasco Rossi, Bari concert: the attack on Matteo Salvini
The ‘Blasco’, during the concert in Bari, when he sang the famous song It doesn’t take muchchose to make a ‘political’ variation on the song, mocking the number one Carroccio.

The attack on Giorgia Meloni
Last June, Vasco, during his 30th concert at San Siro, took it out on the prime minister. In singing Asilo republic he had directly quoted “Giorgia”.
“And then you will see with the police that the situation will return, as before, more than before – Vasco intoned – Giorgia! I will love you (yeah), Giorgia I will love you”. Then he turned to the audience: “We are always here, lucid and alive finally in Milan! We are here tonight to rock, it is the most powerful show in the universe, it is the first of the magnificent seven: seven times seven San Siro”.
In the same concert, the Modena artist then openly dedicated himself The Shots Above to “all the scoundrels who rule this world.”
Vasco Rossi against the “extremist right”
The singer’s criticisms of the leaders of Fratelli d’Italia and Lega are nothing new. Already in October 2021, during the press conference held in Milan to present the album Siamo qui, he had thundered against the two politicians
“There is a very extremist right. For me it is right that there is a right but it must not be as dangerous as what seems to be on the horizon. There is a continuous sowing of hatred and division,” Vasco said.
“The tones of Meloni and Salvini – he added – are divisive tones, they only create hatred in order to gain consensus. I make music, I bring joy, I do this in life. There are people fanning the flames, you know who they are.”
