Giorgia Fumo is an engineer, theatrical improviser and stand-up comedienne. Born in 1986 in Rome, she grew up in Sardinia and studied in Pisa. She has brilliantly led two parallel lives: a Market Intelligence consultant by day, a comedian and theatrical improviser by night. Her clients include brands such as L’Orèal and BMW. She began doing Stand Up Comedy in 2019, and since then she has performed on the main stages of Italian comedy including Zelig in Milan. In 2021 she was the only Italian in the semi-finals of the Funny Women Awards, an international competition for emerging comedians. In 2022 she performed at the Teatro dei Filodrammatici in Milan with the show “La Repubblica Indipendente della Comicità” and in the same year she was a speaker at TEDx Lungarno Mediceo in Pisa.
TV takes notice of her in 2020, she is in the cast of Stand Up Comedy (Comedy Central) for 4 consecutive seasons, in 2021 she is in the cast of Il Giovane OLD (Rai 2) and in 2022 she is one of the protagonists of the final of Italia’s Got Talent (Sky Uno). In 2023 her show Vita Bassa is on Comedy Central in Comedy Central Presents. Today she can end phone calls with a triumphant “My agent takes care of this”.
