The third edition of the Italy World Game tournament kicks off today, an international football sports event that promises to bring together young players from every corner of the globe. This edition will also take place as usual in Latina, from today to July 5th and will see the participation of teams and referees representing all 5 continents, as they come from over 20 nations, including England, Hungary, Finland, Czech Republic, France, Italy, Tunisia, Algeria, United Arab Emirates, Holland, Australia, Canada, USA, Germany, Switzerland and Poland. The game will be played in Latina at the Samagor center, Borgo Grappa, Borgo Santa Maria, Borgo Podgora and Campi Amico.
The Italy World Game tournament, known for its spirit of inclusiveness and high-level competition, has grown rapidly since its first edition, establishing itself as a major event in the international football tournament calendar. In fact, in addition to the football competitions, participants will have the opportunity to take part in a series of collateral activities, including excursions to learn about the area. Activities that aim to raise awareness of the historical and natural beauties of the region, while promoting cultural exchange and traditions among participants.
The idea of organizing the Italy World Game came from former referee Claudio Gavillucci, in collaboration with Paris World Games Production, and was inspired by the success of the Paris World Games, one of the most famous youth sporting events in France. This collaboration highlights both organizations’ shared commitment to promoting peace and inclusion through sport.
