The pre-sale of the Festival della Mente starts: Barbero doubles and with Chicco Cerea haute cuisine returns

The now traditional hunt for tickets for the will start tomorrow morning at 9.30 sharp Festival of the Mind of Sarzana and in particular for the lesson of Alessandro Barbero entitled “The Matteotti crime or ingratitude” on the program Saturday 31 August at 9.15pm and in repeat Sunday 1 September at 10am always in Piazza Matteotti (also in streaming). In fact, once the possibility of seeing the professor at the Miro Luperi stadium has passed – a location that would probably have given his presence at the Festival an even more relevant national resonance – Barbero will double his appointment the following day as happened in the last edition, the twentieth, when he was welcomed like a star in a packed square even outside the tensile structure. A scene that will be repeated again this year due to an enthusiasm around the historian that has grown year after year in the seventeen editions of the Festival in which he took part. For this reason the organization has introduced some innovations in the presale which tomorrow, June 26, it will start at 9.30 on the Vivaticket website and at the Teatro degli Impavidi ticket office. In fact, for each scheduled event it will be possible to purchase up to a maximum of 4 tickets per transaction with the exception however of the two with Barbero as the protagonist (numbers 18 and 18 bis) for which it will be possible buy up to 2 tickets per transaction.

Also tomorrow, the first day of presale, the theater ticket office in Piazza Garibaldi will be open continuously until 7pm and from the following days and until the start of the festival also in the afternoon. However, it is likely that, like every year, many events will be sold out well before the event inaugural lecture which on August 30th will feature Luigina Mortari with “On gratitude, or the joy of care”. Opening of a twenty-first edition which will see the confirmation of now inevitable guests such as Matteo Nucci, Massimo Recalcati, Telmo Pievani and Francesca Mannocchi among others, but also many expected “debutants” including Cristiano Godano, Fabio Genovesi and Pulitzer Prize winner Viet Thanh Nguyen. Just some of the names of an edition that will finally also rediscover haute cuisine, explored in the past – with figures such as Massimo Oldani, Davide Scabin and Carlo Cracco – before it became a true mass phenomenon. This year we will talk about it again Camilla Baresani and chef Chicco Cereathree Michelin stars with the family restaurant “Da Vittorio” in Bergamo.
