It is Alessandro Fonsatti, 58 years old, owner of a well-known tobacconist in Viale degli Olmi, the victim of the accident that happened last night in via Sanseverino in Trento.

It is confirmed that the man fell while riding his motorcycle due to a sudden illness. The accident occurred shortly before 8pm. Despite the timely intervention of the emergency services, there was nothing that could be done for Fonsatti.

According to initial reconstructions, the man was traveling north towards the city center when, at the entrance to the Conad car parkwould have suffered an illness.

In that stretch of road, which is currently one-way due to roadworks, Fonsatti lost consciousness shortly before the underpass for the Albere district, near the mobile traffic light. He fell disastrously onto the asphalt while the motorbike was still moving.

TO Two motorists raised the alarm stopped at the traffic light in the opposite lane, who witnessed the terrible scene.

The paramedics intervened immediately, but the doctor could do nothing but confirm the death. The area was promptly cordoned off with the support of the police headquarters staff to avoid the transit of vehicles and allow the local police to carry out investigations.

It will now be up to local police officers to reconstruct the dynamics of the accident and shed light on their last moments preceded Fonsatti’s death.

The witnesses present in the vehicle were questioned by the police. No other vehicles were involved in the accident and no other people were injured.

The local police will acquire and analyze the images from the video surveillance cameras in the area to further clarify the incident.
