The intense season of events of the Blues In Villa APS Cultural Association continues, which is preparing to inaugurate the 26th edition of his homonymous Festival.

The Association, which recently concluded the Pordenone edition of Jazzinsieme with great success, is ready to welcome the public to its historic Festival, Blues In Villa – Blues&Jazz Festivalwhich this year leaves its original location in Brugnera to cross over into the province of Pordenone, into the municipalities of San Quirino and Porcia before returning to the Villa Varda Park.

The concert calendar will begin in San Quirino, Thursday 4 July at 9.15pm at Magredi Archive Centre. We start from jazz, with the Piero Odorici & Roberto Gatto Quartet. In addition to the two leaders, respectively on sax and drums, known throughout the world, the band is completed by Alfonso Santimone on the piano and Stefano Senni on the double bass. A quartet that enchants the audience with its improvisational ability and perfect synchrony, in which each member contributes their own mastery, creating an engaging musical experience.

Latin rhythms Instead Friday 12 July in the historic center of Porciawhen at 9.15pm the singer will perform Josmil Neris with his project “Quiero el Sur”, in which the artist talks about his Spanish and Afro-Caribbean origins, seeking the beauty of that music which still today constitutes an integral part of a precious cultural heritage. Bolero, son, flamenco are just some of the styles included in this rich mosaic of memories, fragmented but distinct, which refer to the peculiar imprint of the Latin American people in Central/South America and in the world. In 2022, on the occasion of a concert organized by Blues In Villa APS, Quiero el Sur became a live album that you can listen to on streaming platforms. The concert, a Free admissionwill be held at Piazza L. Remigi in the historic center of Porcia.

In case of rain, the event will be held in the Villa Correre Dolfin Park.

Grand finale Friday 26 July starting from 8.00 pm, with an unforgettable evening of blues and rock in Brugnera. The Villa Varda Park will in fact be the stage for a dizzying double concert with opening act: on stage the great American guitarist Chris Cainthe Tuscans TRES. and the bluesman Giuliano Franco Toro. Raised in San Jose by parents who were passionate about music, Chris Cain he first saw BB King at 3 years old, picked up the guitar at 8 and never let go. The King himself expressed his admiration of the style and abilities of Chris Caintogether with Joe Bonamassa, Robben Ford and many others: a real certificate of esteem from dozens of illustrious colleagues.

Roberto Luti, Simone Luti and Rolando Cappanera are the TRES RADIO EXPRESS SERVICE, and the stage has been their natural habitat for more than 30 years. In their concerts these three legendary “brothers in music” known throughout the world blend blues, rock, funk and psychedelia in an explosive experience.

Warming up the atmosphere is a pillar of the Julian and Italian Blues scene: Franco Toro. For 40 years on the stages of half of Europe, Toro sHe studies pre-war blues and American folk, re-proposing and mixing them with personality, choosing pieces that have the history and spark to revive for today’s audience.
