Sassari. «An idea put on the table, enveloping and full of enthusiasm: sip and comment, as often happens with a good wine. We returned there once again and for the third consecutive year. We are back in that corner of the square where it all began just two years ago. The scene repeats itself, but it never gets boring and actually shows that it can be done: low lights, bottles on the walls, in the beginning it was a barrel that served as a table then transformed into a lectern, glasses filled with red white wine, friends and friends who they accept the invitation to write and tell, words, music, images, conviviality and discussion. This, for three years, has been Racconti sul Vino. I testify to the meaning of the final event of this third harvest that will take place ius dinner next Wednesday”. That idea took root, grew and sprouted like a beautiful vine that gives grapes. It took shape in three editions of Racconti sul vino – a small wine literary review, it completed its third maturation cycle, it was “harvested”, it fermented, it was refined for over 1000 days and it is proposed again in this final tasting of the 3rd Harvest. Each glass has a story to tell: we start from this postulate to develop this reading in purity: the last highly anticipated appointment, L’ultimo stirrup, set to start from 7.30pm on Wednesday 26 June, needless to say at the Vineria Tola in Tola square.

A special evening, to be enjoyed outdoors on the tables of the Vineria Tola, a space that has always hosted events and proudly reiterates its presence and keeping the shutter well up on the square. An evening in which the stories – generally written on a wine & friends theme – will flow as if from an old and happy barrel. Our reading lady Lalla Careddu will still be there, Luca Dore, writer made in Sassari and father of two of the very young and extraordinary members of Mad Dog (children of art, good omen), the phantasmagorical boys and girls of the now widespread CLIP collective, the acrobatic journalist, member of the AMST and soul of the Sassari Popular Sports Library Andrea Sini and the masked communicator John McSun. Further grafts are not ruled out. Host, patron and hospitable host is Fabio Masia. The logo of our event, which characterizes us and everyone admires, is by Bea Cirronis.

But not only that, because Wednesday evening will also be the opportunity to reward the winner of the contest launched at the beginning of the year in search of the most beautiful phrase on wine, “In vino veritas”. An original phrase, not a quote, capable of exciting and photographing an image in words. The best one will be displayed on an internal wall of the restaurant and the author will receive a good bottle of wine in exchange.

The invitation is always and only to responsible drinking, reserved (in alcoholic form) only to adults but certainly also open to teetotalers.
