Carrara, the Municipality website changes its look: «More intuitive use»

CARRARA – A more modern and more easily usable site for citizens and businesses, thanks to a new graphic design: the new web portal of the Municipality of Carrara which responds to the indications of the Ministry of Innovation. All public bodies must adapt to technical specifications that can make the use of sites more intuitive. «The objective – explains Palazzo civico – is to improve the quality and usability of digital public services, facilitating the citizen’s experience of public services. For the creation of the new site, the municipal administration has made use of a Pnrr loan, which will be granted only if certification is obtained from the Italian Digital Authority Agid, after a few months of testing: for this purpose, precise rules in publishing content”.

«On the municipal website – continues the Municipality – updated information will be provided on the organisation’s activities, weather alerts, warnings, ordinances, cultural events; Furthermore, it will be possible to report a disservice via e-mail or dedicated service. Soon, for all services that require provision at the counter, it will be possible to book an appointment or complete the procedure online. There is also a section for the most frequently asked questions (FAQ) and a content evaluation form that will allow you to provide an evaluation of the clarity of each page. To consult the new site from mobile devices it is also possible to download the ‘Municipium’ App which aims to develop and strengthen the direct relationship between the Municipality and users of the service, exploiting the technological potential typical of mobile tools to make the contents of the site interactive . Municipium App is present on the Apple, Android and AppGallery stores.”
