FANO – Fano Airport, Enac ready to build the concrete runway. The director of the National Civil Aviation Authority Alessio Quaranta reiterated this in the meeting that took place in Rome this morning to the mayor Luca Serfilippi, accompanied by the deputy mayor Loretta Manocchi, the president of Fanum Fortunae Massimo Ruggeri and Giordano Fillippetti of Eagle Aviation Academy.
“It was a very positive meeting during which the director of Enac Alessio Quaranta confirmed his desire to strengthen this structure by building the concrete runway – said Serfilippi -. On the part of the administration there is a firm conviction to proceed quickly on this path and, together with all the actors involved, to enhance the Fano airport. We will see each other again soon to define the administrative steps, this time also in the presence of the State Property Agency, to formulate the transfer of the land to Enac which, in addition to the concrete runway, will carry out the automation of the fuel system and the redevelopment of the office building. Among our first actions is, in fact, to restore impetus to the airport within the first year of government, keeping faith with the promise made during the election campaign. We will promote a shared strategy with a project that we will also discuss with the city and with all the relevant bodies so that this infrastructure can be supported by new life and a new development perspective”.
