The Agro-Food revolution in the Triveneto in Treviso: The CV Forum 2024 explores the 5.0 Transition

How is the agri-food sector changing in the face of technological innovations and European regulations? What are the new frontiers for sustainability and digitalisation in agriculture? These are just some of the questions that participants will find answers to during the CV Forum 2024 entitled “Foodeconomy-transition 5.0”, a free event to be held on July 5th at the Country Hotel Relais Monaco in Ponzano Veneto.

In the introduction to the conference, Ezio Busatocurator of the forum, underlines the historical importance of this moment for the primary agri-food sector, which finds itself at the center of an eco-sustainable system, subjected to pressure both from the need for innovation and from European restrictions.

The forum will open with initial greetings from Michele SessoloPresident of ADCEC of the Tre Venezie, e Camilla Menini, President of ODCEC Treviso. An introduction will follow by Giangiacomo Indri RaselliDirector of “Il Commercialista Veneto”.

The first session of the conference will be moderated by Ezio Busato, who will lead the debate on the issues of the 5.0 transition in agriculture, with particular attention to agricultural policies for sustainability and the Recovery Fund.

Giuseppe Blasihead of the Department of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry, will open a window on the future development prospects of the agri-food sector, placing particular emphasis on sustainability.

Giangiacomo Gallarati Scotti Bonaldipresident of Confagricoltura Treviso, will focus on climate change and how these affect the agricultural businesses of the future economically and managerially. Giuseppe Satalinodirector of Coldiretti of Treviso, will discuss the challenges that the agricultural sector must face to protect the DOP Economy and the “Made in Italy” brand.

Gianmichele Passarinipresident of the CIA – Italian Farmers Veneto, will explore the role of agriculture in the face of climate change and the necessary ecological and energy transition. Carlo Scabinpresident of the Agro, Fish, Milling and Zootechnical Product Group of Confindustria Veneto Est, will illustrate how agro-industry can be an innovative supply chain, from production to consumption.

Federico Caner, Councilor for Tourism, Agriculture and EU Funds of the Veneto Region, will discuss the challenges that innovation poses to agricultural businesses and to agricultural policy itself. In the end, Samuele Trestiniassociate professor of Agricultural Economics at the University of Padua, will discuss the “5.0 Transition” in agriculture, underlining the role of the National Agritech Center in technological innovation, sustainability and resilience of the sector.

The second session, a round table moderated by the lawyer Riccardo Manfrini of Grimaldi Alliance Treviso, which will lead the discussions and moderate the interventions, will see the participation of key figures from the Triveneto agri-food sector, such as

Maurizio BarcellaBrand Ambassador of Caviar Giaveri, will share his experiences in the caviar niche market, while Luca Rigotti, President of the Mezzacorona Group, he will explore the dynamics of success in the Trentino wine sector.

Elvira BortolomiolVice President and CEO of Bortolomiol SpA in Valdobbiadene, will illustrate the innovative strategies in the world of Prosecco. Alberto Bastianello, owner of the company. Agr. La Fagiana will discuss sustainable practices in Eraclea agriculture. Antonio BortoliGeneral Director of Lattebusche, will delve into the challenges of dairy production in the Dolomites.

Chiara RossettoCEO of Molino Rossetto, will talk about the evolutions in the milling sector of Padua, while Andrea RigoniCEO and President of Rigoni di Asiago, will share the expansion strategies of the famous organic product brand. Federica Morgante, Marketing Manager of Morgante Srl, will explore marketing techniques in the food sector of San Daniele del Friuli. In the end, Paolo MancinPresident of the Consorzio Cooperative Pescatori Del Polesine, will discuss the cooperative dynamics in fishing and the importance of the local context of Scardovari.

The forum will conclude with a session to answer participants’ questions, followed by a buffet. The event not only promises a rich exchange of ideas, but also offers accountants and other professionals in the sector the opportunity to accumulate training credits.
