A fight at home. But when the police arrived last Saturday in Crotone, they found damage to objects in all the rooms inside the apartment, traces of blood, a woman who opened the door for them, and a man, in pain, lying on the floor in another room.
They themselves reported to the military that the woman had stabbed the man, at the height of the argument that began for trivial reasons.
Once the safety of the situation was guaranteed, and health care was assured to the man, whose conditions were not worrying, the carabinieri reconstructed what happened, ascertaining that the two had moved together from Emilia Romagna to the Pythagorean capital. In the Emilian town where they lived, however, a provision had already been issued by the local judicial authority prohibiting the man from approaching the woman, which both had decided, by mutual agreement, to violate and evade: lin fact, the woman had left the electronic device connected to the man’s bracelet, which should have signaled the violation of the provision, in Emilia Romagna.
Considering the provision already in force, which they both violated, and the attack on Saturday evening, both the man, a 44-year-old of foreign origin, and the woman, a 45-year-old Italian, were arrested by the Carabinieri of the NOR of the Crotone Company, who, at the disposal of the Crotone Judicial Authority, they were accompanied to the Crotone and Castrovillari prisons respectively.
