On Saturday 29 June 2024, the Public Gardens of Viale Repubblica in Alessandria will be the stage for AFA26, an event organized by the Councilor for Youth Policies Vittoria Oneto of the Municipality of Alessandria, in collaboration with the Circolo del Cinema Adelio Ferrero and Ohimeme. This day will be a unique opportunity for the community to immerse themselves in the performing arts and participate in a range of creative and educational activities.
Cycle-Decoration and Play Paths Workshop
From 4.00 pm to 6.30 pm, the AFA26 program will begin with the “Cycle-Decoration Workshop – Waiting for the Tour”. This workshop, open to children aged 4 and up, will allow participants to create decorations for their bicycles using recycled materials provided by Remix, thus promoting sustainability and creativity. The initiative is managed by the Semi di Senape cooperative.
At the same time, the Bianconiglio Play Center in Spinetta Marengo will organize “Tutti in Sella!”, a playful route for children aged 5 and up, where they can have fun crossing a circuit specially set up through the streets of the gardens. This activity aims to teach children the importance of playing outdoors and respecting road rules.
Roads for Bikes: Road Education and Fun
Another key activity of the afternoon will be “Roads for Bikes”, an interactive route organized by FIAB Alessandria, Ciclofficina Ri-cyclo and the Sine Limes Association. This route, delimited by real road signs, will offer participants the opportunity to learn the rules of the road in a safe and fun context. Participants will also be able to join a “pedibus”, a human bus, for a unique and socializing experience.
Piacere Mio: Discussions and Shows on Sexuality and Relationships
The evening will continue with the “Piacere Mio” event, curated by Yggdra AulaStudio, which will be held from 7pm until 1am. This event will be dedicated to issues related to sexuality and relationships, and will include workshops, theatrical performances and a DJ set.
- Workshop “Vulva and Taboo”: Conducted by Federica Manfredi, anthropologist, and Raffaella Ferrero Camoletto, sociologist, it will be held in two shifts at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.
- Theater Show “Instruction manual for people interested in sex, people not interested in sex, people scared of sex, people of all genders, people, sex”: Presented by the Naif Teatro company at 9.30pm, it promises a mix of laughter, emotions and reflections on sexuality.
- DJ Set by Sbeenz: From 11pm to 1am, to close the evening with music and fun.
Throughout the event there will be a refreshment area, artists’ stalls and information stands. Entrance is free and open to all.
