Viterbo – 4.47pm – Final data, Mark Piendibene he is the new mayor of Civitavecchia with 54.48% (11,291 votes). Marco Grasso obtained 45.52% (9433 votes).
4.44pm – The final results for Tarquinia. Francesco Sposetti he is the new mayor with 70.09% (5,773 votes). Alessandro Giulivi stops at 29.91% (2,464 votes).

4.13pm – Civitavecchia has a new mayor and he is Marco Piendibene. In these moments the centre-left candidate is celebrating his victory over his centre-right rival Grasso. Ten sections are missing from the official count and the gap remains stable at 8 points.

16.04 – In Civitavecchia Piendibene maintains the lead. 41 sections out of 53 is at 54.06%, while Grasso at 45.94%.
3.30pm – Almost halfway through the official count, Marco Piendibene remains ahead of Massimiliano Grasso in Civitavecchia. The gap between the two remains constant at 10 percentage points. At 20 sections out of 55, Piendibene 54.55%, Grasso 45.45%.

3.37 pm – According to the first unofficial data, a clear victory for Francesco Sposetti over the outgoing Alessandro Giulivi is looming in Tarquinia, with a gap that appears quite strong and difficult to close, despite the still partial data. The first would be around 70% and the second 30%.
3.25pm – Even in Civitavecchia attendance is decreasing. The final turnout in the run-off was 48.26%. In the first round it was 63.43%.
3.10pm – In Tarquinia, 61.12% of those entitled to vote voted. The final figure marks ten points less than in the first round, when 71.92% of voters went to the polls.
Municipal elections, in Tarquinia and Civitavecchia the polling stations closed at 3pm. The wait begins to know the results that the new mayor will decree. In Civitavecchia, whatever happens, it will be a new name, after the retirement of the outgoing Tedesco. Massimiliano Grasso and Marco Piendibene challenged each other. In Tarquinia, however, the outgoing Alessandro Giulivi faced Francesco Sposetti, who obtained almost double the preferences in the first round. Forcing the current mayor into a chase which will soon be understood whether it will be successful or whether the challenger will have taken or maintained his distance.
