“Matter and Energy – Who am I, if not the Universe?”the anthological exhibition of Clotilde de Lisioorganized by the Municipality of Cinisello Balsamo and ReGiS, will be inaugurated tomorrow, Saturday 22 Juneat 5.30 pm at the Hall of Landscapes of Villa Ghirlanda Silva, in the presence of the mayor Giacomo Ghilardi and the councilor for culture Daniela Maggi.

The works on display recall the complexities of life and the aspiration to knowledge as well as mystery. It is a journey of searching for the meanings and conditions of life, backwards in time, from that moment in life in which the future is much shorter than the past, in which the prospect of infinity becomes more attractive and liberating: the awareness of being matter and energy, aka universe.

In his artistic processAfter all, Clotilde de Lisio touched on various significant places in man’s development: the internal ones such as the meaning of life, energies, aspirations; those of human implementations such as communication, science, art; those of the imagination not traceable in concrete reality and those of the earth as territories and cultures existing in the world.

De Lisio is a committed and active artist trained at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, in Milan, with professors Manara and Vernizzi. He then attended various specialization courses on trompe l’oeil, the art of making puppets, ceramics, architecture, art history and much more. He participated in numerous artistic events with personal and collective exhibitions and his works can be found in private and public collections, in Italy and abroad. His creativity is already present in the permanent contemporary art exhibition Imprint of the artist, installed in the heart of the town hall, in the corridors leading to the council chamber.

Lorenzo Puglia, Enzo Terzani and. have written about her Teodosio Martucci (The Design Imagination) said of her: “De Lisio’s work cancels out any reference to naturalism, even though it does not fit into a predictable informal academic context. On the contrary, there is something very more personal and not comparable to the usual divisions of art criticism. The light, the colour, the materials connected by a rationality of the compositional structure, generate an internal emotional involvement in the observer”.

The exhibition, a free entrywill be open until Saturday 6 Julyfrom Tuesday to Saturday from 3pm to 6.30pm and on Sunday from 10.00am to 12.30pm and, in the afternoon, from 2.30pm to 6.30pm.
