TREVISO – The Police Commissioner of the Province of Treviso, Manuela De Bernardinfollowing the judicial expulsion order issued by the Supervisory Magistrate of Avellino, ordered the accompaniment to the border of an Albanian citizen born in 1991, with multiple criminal convictions for crimes against property.
The thirty-three-year-old, who arrived illegally in 2015, was arrested in 2021 as he was held responsible for a long series of home burglaries, committed with other individuals of Balkan extraction in the provinces of Bari, Lecce, Avellino, Modena, Prato, Padua and Venice, and for these facts sentenced to 4 years and 25 days in prison. In 2021, the Lecce Police Headquarters expelled the Albanian citizen via the maritime border of Bari, simultaneously imposing a ban on re-entry throughout the territory of the European Union for a period of 10 years.
In April of this year, taking advantage of the change of surname following a marriage contracted in Albania, the foreigner illegally entered Italy and settled in the Treviso area, but after a few weeks he was photographed by the Carabinieri of Vittorio Veneto so long as caught driving his vehicle in a clear state of alcoholic intoxication. After having ascertained the previous details, the foreigner was arrested for violating the ban on re-entry into Italy and taken to prison. Last June 21, after his release from the Treviso prison, the thirty-three-year-old was accompanied by policemen from the Immigration Office to the border area of Bergamo and again expelled from the national territory.
