All the arts, from cinema to literature, from music to entertainment, will be welcomed in the fourth edition of ‘Tickets to friends’, scheduled from 25 to 27 June in the setting of Piazza sull’Acqua in Rimini.
The event will open with a tribute to Michela Murgia, one of the protagonists of the first edition of the Festival, an intellectual and activist who left a mark on society with her ideas and her voice. The two-time Strega Prize winner Sandro Veronesi will speak. On the 26th the event will remember Patrizia Cavalli, the poet loved by Elsa Morante who passed away two years ago, with the writer and screenwriter Francesco Piccolo and the writer and journalist Annalena Benini, director of the Turin Book Fair.
Various themes will be touched upon during the event: from news to nature, from politics to music, and there will be many voices that will be told. On the 25th the director Matteo Garrone (‘Io Capitano’) will retrace his artistic career, just as the Strega winner Niccolò Ammanniti will talk about his journey through novels and television series. On the 26th the singer-songwriter, actress and director Margherita Vicario will talk about the imagination, fantasy and talent of all the composers who have remained hidden in the pages of history, and the journalist and presenter of ‘Belve’ Francesca Fagnani will talk about it, in a meeting with the writer Irene Graziosi and the Strega prize winner Nicola Lagioia, the anecdotes behind ‘Mala’ (Sem), his investigation into the Roman underworld. On the 27th, the scientist and popularizer Stefano Mancuso and the actor Luca Bizzarri, author and voice of the podcast ‘They don’t have a friend’ (Chora), will be on stage in dialogue with Guia Soncini. Closing with a live set by The Oze, born Tom Neale, guitarist, composer and singer born in England and raised in California.
