Bitonto (BA): The ATM gang continues to act, operating in the north of Bari. Five escape with 50 thousand euros

A fully organized operation, military style. Shortly before dawn, a commando of five people, with distorted faces, went into action right in Vittorio Emanuele, devastating with a well-created explosive device, the explosion of which was felt in other areas of the city. The ATM of the Monte dei Paschi in the center was blown up. The explosion destroyed the entire room, they strewn the road with nails and, with an envelope full of banknotes, they disappeared in a gray Audi, before that the Carabinieri arrived on site. The loot is still being quantified.

The ATM of the Monte dei Paschi di Siena bank, located in Corso Vittorio Emanuele in Bitonto, was blown up around 05.00 in the morning this morning. The perpetrators of the attack, at least five who fled in a gray car, inserted explosive material inside the automatic banknote dispenser and managed to take away around 50 thousand euros.

The escape was aided by some three-pointed nails scattered along the road. The explosion, which damaged the area where the ATM is located and the interior of the credit institution, frightened and woke up the residents of the area. Investigations are underway by the police who have carried out surveys and acquired images from the video surveillance systems in the area.
