CASORIA – Tragedy on Sunday morning on the Sannitica state road, where Vincenzo Vitolo, only 47 years old, died while driving his scooter. The man, an art teacher and tattoo artist, was riding the vehicle with his wife when he was struck by a sudden illness which made him lose control of the vehicle.
The school community of the Rocco middle school in Afragola expressed its sorrow on social media. One post reads: “Hi Enzo”, accompanied by the image of a candle. “With deep sorrow, our entire school community mourns the loss of the teacher. Have a safe journey dearest friend, you will always be in our hearts and in that of all your students.”
Municipal police patrols intervened at the site of the accident to carry out investigations. According to initial reconstructions, the sudden illness led Vitolo to lose control of the scooter, causing the accident in which his wife was also injured. The woman was admitted to the San Giovanni di Dio hospital.
Numerous students and parents wanted to leave dedications on social media to remember the teacher. Among the many messages, we read: “In Heaven they needed an artist” and “A professor with a soul full of love for what he did. Paint and give color to those clouds, no one will ever forget you.”
