LIVORNO – For three days dance will be the absolute protagonist of the event programming in Old Fortress. Beyond 500 dancersan expression of the numerous schools existing in Livorno, will return to invade and animate the oldest fortress in Livorno.
The dates are Thursday 27 June (starting 9.15pm) with the first evening of the event “Summer choreographic fantasies”, an event now in its eleventh edition, which will have a sequel the following evening, Friday 28 June (always at 9.15pm). The third evening included in the “Danza In Fortezza” project will instead be staged Sunday 7 July with Valeria Delfino’s Artedanza school.
Born in 2012 as a presentation of a few dance schools in Livorno, the “Summer Choreographic Fantasies” have become over the years an unmissable event and a real prestigious showcase for the many dance schools and academies present in the Livorno area .
Over the course of two evenings they will have the opportunity to present the extremely lively and vital reality of dance in Livorno, approximately 20 schools from children to semi-professional adult levels.
Created by the Cronosax Livorno, Spettacolo & Sport association, ASD USACLI in collaboration with the “Teatro Salesiani” and with the artistic direction of Rino Pizzonia. Like the previous edition, the “Summer Choreographic Fantasies” will enjoy the patronage and participation of the Municipality of Livorno.

Sunday 7 July
Starts at 9.15pm. The show offered by the ARTEDANZA school in via Grotta delle Fate, directed by Valeria Delfino will be called “Summer fashion show” with the students of the ArteDanza school. Choreographies by Valeria Delfino herself, Francesca Gianni, Lisa Anselmi, Lisa Brasile, Laurent Minatchy and Stass Zyma are planned. In Fortezza Vecchia, a summary of twenty years of activity experienced between internships, exhibitions, essays and competitions will essentially be presented.
The “Summer Choreographic Fantasies” and will make use of the photographic service curated by Alessio Vallese of via Roma and the collaboration of the “Garibaldi” and “Cecconi” car parks, of ACLI Service, as well as the hospitality and availability of Menicagli Pianoforti and the Fortezza-Bar by Monica Franceschini.

Pre-sale active for the “Summer Choreographic Fantasies” from Tuesday 25 June at the Fortress, from 4pm to 7pm. The evening ticket office on show days will be open from 8pm.
The public will only be admitted at the end of the choreography rehearsals.
