First week in the Municipality for the new mayor Massimo Zedda who now announces more security in the city.
The mayor, waiting for the definitive proclamation of the councilors to facilitate the process of defining the municipal council, met with the managers of Palazzo Bacaredda.
“From daily needs to an initial analysis of the resources that the administration will use as an opportunity for development and growth for the city: this is an important opportunity that will have repercussions in the present and the future”, wrote Zedda in a post , “in particular, 20% of European resources must be spent by 2025, in such a way as to be able to guarantee a reward of several tens of millions of euros.
For this to happen it will be necessary to race against time. We will have to wait for the establishment of the Council and the Executive to be able to remodulate these and plan spending.
After the meeting with the managers, I met the Commander of the municipal police, with whom we agreed on a meeting with all the officers; I immediately asked that a greater presence be guaranteed in terms of security.
I participated in the presentation of the Report on the economy of Sardinia at the headquarters of the Bank of Italy in Largo Felice, a work that is always of importance and helpful to all those involved in the institutions, especially for us in Cagliari, being the capital regional, as these are important economic studies and investigations also compared to international scenarios.

Sports spaces in the city, the redevelopment of places, sports facilities inside schools, school buildings are aspects on which our commitment, day after day, will be constant to improve our splendid city and the metropolitan reality that surrounds it ”.
