After the drafting of the noise plan, the Municipality of L’Aquila intends to start noise emission controls square by square
The checks, linked to the noise level, will make it possible to evaluate any decibel exceeding the limits imposed by the new regulation, avoiding the onset of legal cases, as has happened so far.
Therefore, after the expansion of the ongoing video surveillance system, the monitoring of noise pollution will also be a reality, thanks to the new noise plan which will be approved shortly.
The regulation places the historic center in the so-called fourth tier, which, by providing limits on noise emissions both at night and during the day, imposes precise rules that the organizers of evenings in the clubs will necessarily have to take into account. The objective is the conciliation between the right entertainment and the rest of the residents.
The plan also provides that acoustic monitoring can be carried out at the expense of those who request it. Meanwhile, the Municipality is evaluating with Arta the possibility of creating packages to carry out checks in the centre; Councilor Fabrizio Tarana also lets it be known that he is in contact with two companies to have city noise pollution monitoring systems equipped with fixed phonometric devices, to have a clear picture of the situation.
