ALESSANDRIA – This year too the traditional one has been renewed ceremony for the awarding of scholarships to the children of workers registered with Building Fund who have achieved meritorious scholastic results and to workers who have been registered for 25 years.
Satisfied by the large presence of the families of the winners in the hall of the Building School of Alessandria, the president of the Building Fund, Giancarlo Muziounderlined the work carried out in recent years “to achieve greater closeness and more effective communication with the world of businesses, consultants and workers to make the Cassa Edile a support and an authoritative reference for all those involved in the sector in various capacities, as a guarantee of regularity, correctness and legality“.
The vice president Paolo Tolu has called attention to the dedication and work in constructionin particular, for those who have already worked for a quarter of a century, who “they deserve great respect and deep appreciation from the social partners of the sector and the Building Fund“. At the same time he recalled the plague of accidents at work against which “the bicameral system has been fighting for years for the correct application of the construction contract, which places the utmost attention on risk prevention, the regularity of the position of workers and their adequate and specific training”.
After greetings from the president of the Province of Alessandria, Enrico Bussalino and the councilor for public education of the municipality of Alessandria, Maria Cornaraunder the direction of the director of the Cassa Edile, Cinzia Capelli, the certificates and scholarships were delivered.
The Cassa Edile has established 46 scholarships for a total of 28,800 euros to be awarded to the children of members who have distinguished themselves with meritorious results in their studies: 300 euros with a grade of 9 at lower secondary school, 600 euros at upper secondary schools and 1500 euros with a grade of 29 or for a degree with 110 at university.
