The program of the traditional event was presented in recent days, as a preview at the Galli Theater in Rimini Meeting Rimini 2024 which will take place from 20 to 25 August with the title “If we are not looking for the essential, then what are we looking for?”
The meeting, which will have more exhibition spaces than the previous edition, with free entrance and parking and which will remain open until midnight, will benefit from the extraordinary and indispensable support of around three thousand volunteers from Italy and abroad.
In the Meeting 2024 preview, the detailed perimeter in which the 2024 edition will unfold was presented; from the exhibitions to the scheduled shows, from the children’s village to the sports citadel, awaiting the complete program of conferences which will instead be released in the month of July.

The themes of the exhibitions, among others, will be the history of the jubilees, the photographic representations with 65 original shots by the American photographer Curran Hatleberg, the works of the American painter William Congdon and the literary work of the Swedish sculptor Par Lagerkvist, Nobel Prize winner in 1951 for the literature. Other exhibitions will present the current relevance of the figure of Alcide De Gasperi, the story of Franz, martyr of Nazism and proclaimed blessed in 2007, and Franziska Jagerstatter, and the Christmas truce on the Western Front in 1914, told in the film Joyeux Noel.
An exhibition will also be dedicated to the life of the Servant of God Enzo Piccinini, a doctor from Modena who was particularly close to the public at the Meeting.
The inaugural show on 20 and 21 August “Who are you?” will be dedicated to the Holy Land, which will also be at the center of an exhibition. the challenge of Jerusalem” starring Ettore Bassi directed by Otello Cenci.
In the following evenings other theatrical shows will be staged, including, on August 22nd, “Acqua” by Maddalena, Abbatangelo and Pizzol; “Between. Saint Francis the superstar of the Middle Ages by and with Giovanni Scifoni on August 23rd, while on the 24th the maestro Ramin Bahrami will perform.

The program of the 2024 edition is completed by the children’s village, with a series of engaging activities, and the Sports Citadel to respond to the desire to do sporting activities during the event.
