From midnight today, Sunday 23 June, to midnight tomorrow, Monday 24, weather alert number 83 will be active in the municipality of Ravenna, orange for thunderstorms, yellow for hydraulic and hydrogeological criticality, issued by the regional protection agency civil and from Arpae Emilia-Romagna. Please remember that until midnight today, Sunday 23 June, alert number 82 is in force, yellow for thunderstorms.

For Monday 24 June, persistent and abundant rain is expected in the regional territory; in the first part of the day the rains will be associated with thunderstorms, even of strong intensity. Increases in hydrometric levels in watercourses will be possible in correspondence with heavy rainfall.
Limited phenomena of erosion of the shoreline due to the rise of wave motion, which could reach two meters in height, cannot be ruled out.
“I recommend – declares Mayor Michele de Pascale, first municipal civil protection authority – to implement the appropriate self-protection measures, including, in this case: pay attention to potentially flooded roads and not access the underpasses if you find them you find yourself flooded; secure objects sensitive to the effects of rain, hail and wind or likely to be damaged; pay particular attention to the state of the watercourses and avoid accessing the huts along them (if the floodplain floods the hut must be evacuated)”.
