With the salary for the month of July, workers in the Municipality of Terni will find on their pay slips the “productivity” share of the additional salary and annual allowances, including the performance allowance for high qualifications.

“As the CSA union – explains Sergio Silveri, provincial secretary of CSA RAL Terni – we have requested for the organisation’s employees, formally and forcefully since the month of April, the payment of the additional salary referring to the year 2023, available, defined in the amounts , but still unpaid. We are clearly satisfied with the result achieved: however, we cannot underline our opposition to the postponement of payment, which occurs every year from month to month. On this, as CSA, we want to be clear: a change of course is necessary on the part of the municipal administration, with an awareness.

The amounts of additional salary for employees are wages that are an integral part of the salary, which is why they must be paid immediately, beyond the necessary obligations and technical problems that may exist, and of which we are aware, and which in any case are known and can be overcome for months before. It is the right recognition for workers – adds Silveri – For this reason we have no intention of giving up on the timely payment of the annual additional salary from next year onwards: we will immediately take action in the relevant discussions with the administration to have certainties on the payment times. This is part of the salary of just under 600 employees: it is no longer possible to postpone it from month to month.”
