Rafa Marin is now virtually closed but Napoli is already close to the second shot: the white smoke is really around the corner
The Naples accelerates on the market: the Azzurri are now unleashed in view of the official presentation of Antonio Conte scheduled for Wednesday in theater of the Royal Palace. While everything is now ready to officially introduce the new Italian coach to the fans and media, at the same time the management is working hard to build next season’s team.
The defense is naturally viewed with a magnifying glass: last season’s performances are still there for all to see and Conte will start again from that department to build the new team. The coach from Lecce wants to win and has asked for massive reinforcements in that department: Rafa Marin, born in 2002, is virtually closed. He will arrive from Real Madrid on a permanent basis but with a buy-back clause for the Merengues.
The Spaniard is only the first shot, considering how Conte has also asked Alessandro Buongiorno and Mario Hermoso: the negotiations are continuing for both, there are still some important details to be ironed out but everything suggests that the white smoke could arrive even in a short time.

While waiting for the defensive unit to be completed, however, the second Italian shot is ever closer, but in another role: that of the wingers, another very dear and heartfelt theme for the Lecce coach. Conte, in fact, could start again from 3-4-3module that needs leg band sliders, capable of doing up and down the band.
And so, with Mario Rui on the way out, there is Leonardo Spinazzola ever closer: the last doubts – the only ones to tell the truth – regarding his physical status have now disappeared. Last season the winger played 36 seasonal matches and, moreover, against Napoli he played a match of substance that cannot fail to remain in the eyes of the Azzurri.
Spinazzola, moreover, is much appreciated by Conte: he would have wanted it already during his time at Inter and, released on a free transfer after his contract expires with Roma on 30 June, it is more than a deal. Conte himself guarantees for the boy born in ’93, one of the best sliders in Italy.
Conte pushes so hard that the closure would be ever closer: contacts between the parties are intensifying, Napoli would be a great opportunity for the winger to show his qualities again. And 31 years would not be a problem for the Neapolitan team: the department would rejuvenate given Mario Rui’s 33 outgoing age.
