It has passed Almost a year since the Milan Golf Club presented its proposal for “special public-private partnership aimed at obtaining recognition of a new concession for the sports complex with the commitment to ensure the valorisation of the real estate complex and in particular of the club house located within the sports complex, the redevelopment of the arboreal heritage, the development of the competitive sports and the promotion of golf by allowing the use of the sports complex by non-players”. The Consortium, also through the master plan of the Palace, he never questioned the existence of golfalso ratified prospectively.

The resolution summarizes that the management board, chaired by the current mayor of Monza, discussed the proposal the same month, then in September, October, November and December in five sessions and then requested and obtained modifications and additions from the private sector until the project is defined as “admissible”.. As required by law, one was then made expression of interest to verify the possible existence of another person interested in the project and in better conditions for the public, but no one came forward.

The operation seemed to be concluded, pending the green light from the Milan superintendency also responsible for Monza: but this was not the case and so the Royal Palace decided to extend the existing concession again: and the third consecutive renewalsince the first started at the end of the year (natural end of the concession) for three months, then a further two months were granted at the end of March and until the end of May, but they were not enough to close the case definitively.
