Calcio Foggia 1920 announces the appointment of Massimo Brambilla as new coach of the first team. Brambilla will take up the role from 1 July 2024 until 30 June 2025.

Born on 4 March 1973 in Vimercate, Brambilla had a successful career as a footballer in Serie A and Serie B, wearing the shirts of Monza, Turin, Cagliari, Bologna and Parma, totaling over 400 appearances. After retiring, he embarked on a career as a coach, initially working in Atalanta’s youth team and subsequently successfully leading the Primavera team of the Bergamo club. In the last two years he has coached Juventus NextGen, reaching the final of the Italian Cup Serie C in 2022/23 and the quarter-finals of the playoffs the following season.

The Foggia management is convinced that Brambilla’s experience and tactical vision will be fundamental to achieving next season’s objectives. “I accept this new professional challenge with enthusiasm and I am honored to be able to coach a historic team like Foggia. I am confident that, through work, we will all gain great satisfaction together”, declared Brambilla.

The club also announces the appointment of Domenico Roma as new Sports Director, with a contract that will last from 1 July 2024 until 30 June 2025. Born on 1 January 1976 in Policoro and originally from Montegiordano (CS), Roma has developed a Extensive experience in different companies. He began his managerial career as team manager at Cosenza, then holding roles as Sports Director at Vigor Lamezia and Lavello, as well as a stint as Director of the scouting area at Vibonese. In the last season, he contributed to the salvation of Messina, building a team capable of reaching the seasonal goal well in advance and promoting young talents.

“I am honored to join a historic club like Foggia. I am ready to put all my experience and passion at the service of the team to achieve great goals together”, declared Roma.
