Mourning in the judicial world. After a long illness Dr. Stefania Mininni passed away at the age of 50, magistrate prepared, balanced and with great human qualities. After numerous years spent at the Modena Prosecutor’s Office, the Bari magistrate moved to the Public Prosecutor’s Office Lecce in 2009, where he continued to deal with vulnerable groups and violence.
Many of his investigations concluded brilliantly with the identification of the culprits and their conviction, as for the Fasano murder which occurred in the Melissano area. Dr. Mininni, also a member of the Judicial Council of Lecce, then moved to the Prosecutor’s Office for minors in Lecce, under the guidance of her colleague Simona Filoni.
In that office he demonstrated his great ability to intervene in delicate issues in the world of juveniles, immediately enjoying the esteem of his colleagues, the staff and the police force and of the entire Salento Bar. With his premature death, the city of Lecce loses one of the best magistrates who, without media ambition or desire to appear, served in the judicial offices of Lecce. The affection and memory of her colleagues and of the entire Salento Bar goes to her.
