The assembly of the Food Group took place at the headquarters of Confindustria Salerno, which includes 67 companies with approximately 3 thousand employees.
The assembly elected Carmine Alfano – Coppola Spa (Scafati) as President.
The members of the board of directors were also elected: Maria Carmela Calabrese – Agrioil Spa (Roccadaspide); Gianluigi Di Leo – Calispa Spa (Castel San Giorgio); Pasquale Aurelio Garone – Sorgenti S. Stefano Spa (Montesano sulla Marcellana); Giuseppe Pizzuti – Molini Pizzuti srl (Bellizzi); Alfredo Romaniello – Best Italian Selection srl (Battipaglia); Gaetano Sica – Caramico Gaetano & C. Spa (Salerno); Gerardo Salzano – Pomilia Spa (Nocera Superiore); Rossella Spatola – Teorema Mediterraneo srl (Nocera Inferiore); Antonia Trucillo – Cesare Trucillo Spa (Salerno).

Confindustria Salerno has worked in recent years to contribute to the development of the sector, starting from the training of a specialized workforce, which is a particularly important aspect in our sector. We have, in fact, participated in the establishment of ITS Te.La., a highly technologically specialized school which constitutes an innovative teaching model for the creation of professional figures with new skills sought after and necessary for agri-food companies, which are difficult to find today. We will also work on the aggregation, where possible, of small and medium-sized enterprises for possible joint participation in sector events and fairs and in all those initiatives that may allow us to strengthen the identity and image of the Group, also bringing the our excellences on ever new markets.
