The Lions Club Caselle Torinese Airport has crossed the important finish line of five years after its foundation.
For the occasion on the evening of Wednesday 19 June it took place there Charter Night: an evening open to both club members and their relatives and friends; an opportunity to relive past moments and imagine future ones by celebrating a five-year period full of commitment, growth and service to the community.
But the evening was above all an opportunity to welcome new members and make some official “handovers” for important positions, thus forming a new team that will lead the Club in the next Lions year.
So much emotion for the appointment of president of the Caselle Airport Lions Club which was entrusted to Maruska Benedetto that so happens to Noemi Zirpolioutgoing president.
The new team will therefore be made up of: president Maruska Benedetto, vice president Luca Alberigo, secretary Roberto Barbero, treasurer Davide Lanzone, membership manager Giuliana Aghemo; service manager Linda Bruno and LCIF manager Noemi Zirpoli.
The evening was made even more special by the arrival of a new member, Roberta Vernè: “Roberta is welcome to our family – stated the members of Lions Club – sWe are excited to start this journey with her.”
The ceremony was enlivened by the presence of various Lion authorities, including Rossella Molinapresident of the Collegno Certosa Reale Club and District Secretary, Margherita Viettipresident of Ciriè D’Oria e Daniela Bertinosecretary of Ciriè D’Oria.
A special thanks was addressed to Mayor of Caselle Torinese, Giuseppe Marsagliaet al Knight Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic, Gino Gronchiboth present at the ceremony.
“It seems like yesterday we received our first Charter – conclude the members of the Lions Club– “and yet, five years have already passed. In this period of time, many things have changed, but one thing has remained constant: the enthusiasm and desire to always serve at the highest levels.”
In just five years, the Lions Club Caselle Torinese Airport has been able to carve out a leading role in the local panorama, carrying out numerous service activities in favor of the most needy. From the prevention of diabetes and glaucoma to support for people with disabilities, the Club has always shown great attention to local issues.
The Charter Night of the Lions Club Caselle Torinese Airport it was an opportunity to celebrate the milestone achieved and to look to the future with confidence. An example of civil commitment and volunteering that represents a precious value for the entire community.
