L’appointment and for Thursday 27 Junewhen at the Ponti Villas in Varese will stop on “Giro d’Italia of women who do business 2024”an initiative that is part of the National Plan for Female Entrepreneurship, a project of the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy, created by Unioncamere and Invitalia.
The objective of the meeting – promoted by Varese Chamber of Commerce with his Women’s Entrepreneurship Committee – is to propose a moment of reflection on technological innovation to support women who do business, with a careful look at the prospects linked to artificial intelligence.
«The initiative is included – underlines the president Mauro Vitiello – in the Sustainability chamber mission with the aim of promoting the development of collective well-being. It will be a moment of discussion on the role of new technologieslike artificial intelligence, they play with respect to present and future opportunities and challenges for female entrepreneurial and professional activities”.
In turn, the deputy general secretary of Unioncamere Tiziana Pompeii adds: «The Varese stage is included in the national roadshow promoted by Unioncamere with the direct involvement of the Committees for female entrepreneurship and now included in the “National Plan for Female Entrepreneurship”, a project of the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy and financed by the European Union with the resources of the Next Generation EU which Invitalia, the managing body, implements in collaboration with Unioncamere itself”.
Coming to the program of the day, which will begin at 3.00 pmthe opening of the conference will be entrusted to the president Mauro Vitiello and to that of the Varese Female Entrepreneurship Committee Ilaria Broggiantogether with the deputy general secretary of Unioncamere Tiziana Pompeii and to the Equality Councilor of the Province of Varese Anna Danesi.
Next, a panel of guests and experts will conduct a series of interventions in which various key aspects related to the topics of artificial intelligence and female employment will be analysed. The in-depth analyzes will be aimed at reflecting on the possible applications of these innovations in the economic and industrial fields, on the new socio-cultural paradigms that the union between AI and economic organizations generates and on the implications of this theme for the female component. There will not be a moment missing for the presentation of the tools to support companies in the field of gender equality certification.
«Our country has signed the United Nations 2030 program – says the president of the Varese Female Entrepreneurship Committee Ilaria Broggian – which includes gender equality and equal opportunities among the specific objectives, to be achieved by that year. As a signatory, Italy cannot afford to fail in these commitments, it is necessary to continue working towards the realization of these goals. Especially since studies highlight how a increase in female employmentwhether dependent or autonomous, can lead to a increase in GDP in the country even by 12%”.
The meeting, aimed at businesses, aspiring entrepreneurs, professionals and new generations also includes a round table with entrepreneurs and professionals who will discuss innovation and sustainable transition.
